Karen has over 30 years’ experience as a practising Attorney-at-Law and is the principal and owner of InterCaribbean Legal. Her clientele spans individuals, family businesses, private and public companies, financial institutions, and private investors, with a practice concentrated in real estate, trust and estate planning, regulatory and compliance, securities, loan documentation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, corporate governance, procurement, and maritime law.
She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and consults to InterCaribbean Corporate Services, a licensed corporate service provider in Barbados. Karen is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Barbados International Business Association, and the Barbados Bar Association.
